Our 3-night Mekong Discovery Cruise offers travelers with limited time a richly rewarding adventure. Leave high-rise hotels behind. This unique Phnom Penh itinerary allows you to explore deeper into Cambodia's pastoral countryside and the witness the authentic lives of fisherman and farmers along the river. You will have plenty of opportunities to explore, from daily biking options (10 - 15km), kayaking, to relaxing excursions on shaded tuk-tuk. Start the day with a guided meditation on a sundeck overlooking the emerald greenery around the river, then travel in luxury amidst captivating landscapes along the Mekong river, from the Silver Pagoda and Art Deco of the Cambodian capital to Tonle Sap River. Watch artisans produce the magnificent silverware so favored by the Khmer royalty and visit traditional potters and palm-sugar producers. Explore the otherwise inaccessible locations on our custom designed, ergonomic and private speedboats, each sitting up to 10 guests.

Passengers are accommodated in 20 Design Suites:
• First Deck : 10 Design Suites each measuring 30 sqm / 322sq. ft.; 4 with balcony and 6 without balcony.
• Second Deck : 10 Design Suites each measuring 30 sqm / 322sq. ft.; 4 with balcony and 6 without balcony.
• Interconnecting Suites : Four, 60 sqm / 640 sq. ft.

• All Design Suites feature panoramic, river facing floor to ceiling windows
• Design Suites without balconies all have river facing panoramic windows and an interior daybed.
• Design Suites with balconies all have panoramic windows and an exterior daybed.
• For the ultimate luxury, passengers may select a pair of interconnecting suites, either for families or with one suite configured as a private living room, the other a master bedroom, plus his-and-hers bathrooms.

In the silversmith village of Koh Chen, we watch artisans producing the magnificent silverware favored by Khmer royalty. We continue to Udong, the royal capital from the 17- 19th centuries, where we learn about a uniquely challenging Buddhist practice at the Vipassana Dhura Mandala, a meditation center. In the afternoon, a walking tour of Kampong Prasat offers a close up perspective on local lives and their riverside environment.

In the cooler hours, we head into the lush countryside to visit tradition al potters and palm-sugar producers, astride mountain bikes or chauffeured by shaded tuk-tuk. Into the rice paddies we pedal to watch wizened masters scale sky-piercing palms towering over us. Cruise across the glassy water and disembark among the lotuses for an ox-cart ride along the Tonl e Sap riverbanks, past lacquered wooden houses where during these dry months residents take refuge in the relative cool of these outdoor impromptu living rooms.

We show off the Cambodian capital to our passengers by motorized tuk-tuk, the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and the National Museum of Cambodia, home to the world’s largest collection of Khmer art. For those who wish, we visit the Tuol Sleng Museum of Genocide and the Killing Field or shopping at Russian Market. Disembark.
