8 Days Beijing - Xian - Shanghai by train ( private 2 person )

When your flight arrive in Beijing, our tour guide will hold a sign with your name on it waiting for you after you passing the custom. Our driver and guide will drive you to the hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day. It is convenient for you to take a stroll or have meals since our hotels are located in central Beijing.

After breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your hotel by the appointed time. Today you will hike on the magnificent Great Wall of China, Badaling or Mutianyu Great Wall according to your preference. After about 1.5 hours' driving, you will see the Great Wall twisted along the mountains. Cable car is optional to help you to reach the Great Wall. Have lunch and visit jade market.
Scenic spots: Badaling Great Wall, Badaling fortress, beacon-towers, "looking-toward Beijing stone", and etc.
In the afternoon, go sightseeing in Summer Palace, the largest and best-preserved royal garden in China with a history of over 800 years. Scenic spots: 1. East palace gate, 2. the hall of benevolence and longevity, 3. hall of jade billows, 4. the hall of joyful longevity, 5. the covered walkway, 6. the marble boat, etc.
After the tour, we will enjoy a delicious Peking Duck in the famous Quanjude restaurant before returning to your hotel.

Full day trip to Tian'anmen Square,   where the most important national ceremonies are held, surrounded by many historical buildings. From the square, you can walk to the Forbidden City, the largest imperial palace in China during the Ming and Qing Dynasties with a history of about 600 years Inside this imperial palace, we will explore its fascinating halls, pavilions with golden roofs and high red walls. After we exit the Forbidden City, we will enter another attraction, Jingshan Park, where we will see local Chinese residents taking exercise, singing or dancing, and we will climb the hill inside the park, when we reach the top of the hill, we will enjoy the bird view of the whole Forbidden City and Beijing central city, which is a highlight of today. Then have a visit to Temple of Heaven, where ancient emperors came to worship the heavens in hopes of good harvests. After visiting Temple of Heaven, we will go to silk market. After the day trip, drive to Beijing West train station to catch the overnight Train Z43 (19:58-08:33)or other closer one (soft sleeper) to Xian.

Arrive in Xi'an in the morning, and you can have a breakfast on the train dining car. Be met at the station & transferred to your hotel for save the luggage and check in. Have city tour to Shaanxi History Museum,   where you can learn more history about Xian through the cultural relics: bronze wares, jade, potteries, and murals from the Prehistory Period to the Qing Dynasty. Then visit Ancient City Wall. It was build in Tang Dynasty which survived through Chinese long history. It is the most complete existing urban fortification in China. You can walk or cycle on the ancient wall (bike rental fee is not included).  Enjoy the Tang Dynasty Show in the evening.

Visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, which is the most important attraction in Xian, there are three excavated pits exhibiting amazing Qin dynasty warrior and horses figures. Then go to the Bell Tower, the emblem of Xi'an city. After visiting the Bell Tower, the Wild Goose Pagoda, where widely renowned Master Xuanzang (Monk Tripitaka) stored his classics brought from India. Go to Shanghai by overnight Train T140 or other (Soft Sleeper).

Arrive in Shanghai at around 13:00. Be met and transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Visit the famous Shanghai Bund and Nanjing Road,  then go to Yu Garden, a famous garden in the south China. The symbol of Yuyuan Garden is the Nine Zigzag Bridge built of granite and grass-white jade and the quaint, elegant mid-lake pavilion & Market (Chenghuangmiao),
Next, we will visit Jade Buddha Temple and Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Standing on the glass sightseeing platform, you will have a bird's eye view of the city.

Free at leisure until to be transferred to the airport for the flight to your next destination.
