The Hotel Sans Souci Wien is located at the heart of Vienna, at the interface between the imperial first district and the fashionable seventh district, directly across from the chic Museums Quarter. Public transport runs virtually to our front door in the form of the U2 and U3 underground stations (Burggasse exit) and the number 49 tram line. For those travelling by car, parking spaces can be pre-booked in our garage.
Transfers
We will be happy to organise a personal driver to bring you from the airport to the hotel. In order to make the necessary arrangements, we require the following information: name, flight number, arrival time and number of passengers. Our driver will be waiting for you in the airport arrivals hall with a sign. The cost of a transfer from the airport to the hotel is from €50.00; the journey from the hotel to the airport is charged from €45.00.
City Airport Train (CAT) and Schnellbahn (rapid transit train)
Vienna airport is connected to the city centre via the City Airport Train (journey time 16 min, cost €11.00) and the Österreichische Bundesbahnen (Austrian Federal Railway, ÖBB) Schnellbahn (rapid transit train) line S7 (cost €3.90). Change trains at Wien Mitte station onto the U3 line going towards Ottakring. The Hotel Sans Souci Wien is located directly next to the Burggasse exit from the Volkstheater station on the U3 line.
VIENNA AIRPORT BUS – LINE VAL 1
The bus departs from the Airport Bus Terminal and has a stop opposite the hotel. The name of the bus stop is “Volkstheater”. Tickets are charged at € 8,-. The ride takes approximately 35 min.
Depending on the station you have different possibilities to come to us. We are happy to organize a transfer to the hotel.
The subway stations U3 and U2 are directly in front of the Sans Souci Vienna.
If you prefer the public transportation from Vienna, we have the fastest way to Sans Souci:
Take the underground line U1 direction "Leopoldau" to station "Kalsplatz". At station "Karlsplatz" change to U2 direction "Seestadt". Please get off at station "Volkstheater".

Take the tram line D direction "Nussdorf". Get off at the stop "Dr.-Karl-Renner-Ring".
Get off at the Westbahnhof in the U3 direction "Simmering" and get off at the station "Volkstheater".
