Explore the culinary diversity of the Schloss Hotel. Food and drink belong to the many treasures to be found here at Schloss Rheinfels.

Chef Frank Aussem and his team combine the highest quality of local ingredients with the creative ideas of international cuisine. The use of fresh, local products is a top priority for Frank, as he sees it as being the best way to guarantee the very best standards for his dishes.

The wine list also reflects the diversity of the Middle Rhine. Selected local wine producers enchant with their classy Riesling wines and fruity Pinot Noirs.

Our gourmet restaurant 'Silcher Stuben' was completed in mid-2011, perfectly complementing our gastronomic offer. Together with the castle restaurant 'Auf Scharffeneck', with its winter garden, and the historic castle tavern 'Der Landgraf', with its World Heritage terrace, we offer guests a choice of rustic, regional and fine gourmet cuisine.

A perfect evening can be rounded off in our little smoking bar 'De Backes' with a variety of cigars, whiskeys and beers.

We are serving the seven-course set meals 'Classic' and 'a la region', that can be reduced to four courses on request. The corresponding wines complement an altogether exquisite evening.

Fine regional dining over the clouds of the UNESCO World Heritage Middle Rhine Valley. The castle tavern 'Zum Landgrafen', with its panoramic Rhine terrace, provides the perfect, rustic culinary alternative to the castle restaurant 'Auf Scharffeneck'.

Small, light dishes, ranging from freshly baked Flammkuchen (tarte flambée) to delicious salads await you in this quaint and original pub.

Anyone who has sat on the terrace in the afternoon and seen the glint of the sun on the Rhine while enjoying our coffee and homemade cakes cannot fail to have been enchanted by the magic of the Loreley!

De Backes - The "small" pub in the bakery is a tribute to the golden times of the castle. As a meeting point after the successful conference or as part of your castle holiday, not only the original true ambience, but also a high-quality selection of historic schnapps and rum specialties thrills . 

In 1929 the village was opened for the first time. From then on, it was the meeting point in St. Goar for celebrating and celebrating. Not only the victory of the German national team in the 1954 World Cup final in Berne was celebrated, but also the traditional St. Goarer Schützenball 1949.

Of course live football transfers to the Champions League and Bundesliga are not missing. Unique is also the original Backes liquor . Burnt in the style of old baking, he is the start of a long, lively evening for many. Each guest can make his favorite songs on his own request list.

It connects to the Nature and Adventure Path: The combination of nature trail and outdoor action elements stretch over a kilometre through the old ramparts of the castle, a forest landscape, past ponds, glades and a waterfall. The six stations along the route engage with and encourage team spirit, respect and the joint strategic development.

Our 64 rooms, suites and hotel apartments have been stylishly designed by the renowned company JAB Anstoetz, individually tailored to meet the high standards the surroundings demand.
