Very soon after his cookery in Chur, Renato Wüst found the way to the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz. Since 1978, Renato Wüst has passed many stages of his cooking run at the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz. He is constantly interrupted by stages at well-known kitchen masters in St. Moritz, Munich, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore or Perth.

With the new clubhouse (starting from April 29, 2017), a new golf restaurant will be presented to members of the golf club, golf lovers and also the culinary enthusiasts.
In addition to the new appearance of the restaurant, this also introduces a new name. From the golf restaurant the "gladys". The name goes back to Miss Gladys Thomson. It was marked on the oldest competition game, held in the Bad Ragaz Golf Club, as the winner of the Ladies Challenge Cup in 1908 and 1909. The name is therefore an homage to the history of the prestigious club established in 1905, as well as a symbol for the further development in golfing - after all, women were not as strongly represented in golfing at the beginning of the 20th century as they are today.
Something has changed: in autumn the Gastroguide GaultMillau has decorated the golf restaurant with an additional point. Kitchen chef Robert Hubmann is therefore delighted with his motivated team to be able to pamper guests from now on with 14 GaultMillau points. At the heart of its cuisine are still the best food from local and international producers. Raw products produced with respect for man and nature are the ingredients from which the chef conjures up honest dishes and full taste with love and passion. Europe's most abundant thermal spring originates in the Taminaschlucht near Bad Ragaz and was discovered in the early Middle Ages (in 1242).

The highlight of the golf season will be the 21st Swiss Seniors Open, which will see top-class golfers make their way to Bad Ragaz between 7 and 9 July 2017. Chef de cuisine Robert Hubmann and his team are looking forward to treating golfers and food-lovers to culinary delights at the new gladys restaurant with its 14 GaultMillau points. The opening of the new Skinfit shop in the Tamina Therme on 24 June 2017 provides another reason for sports enthusiasts to get excited. In June, three new wellness programmes aimed at promoting relaxation, vitality and balance and developed in cooperation with Altearah® Bio will be added to our 36.5° Wellbeing & Thermal Spa. And last but not least, I would like to thank our departing CEO Peter P. The Grand Hotel Hof Ragaz, consisting of the listed Palais palace and the newer Ragaz farmhouse, is a testament to the development of Bad Ragaz as a health resort with a world-wide reputation. In 1840 the Ragaz thermal water of the newly built water pipeline was created.
